Operate ratchet turnbuckle cautiously from a firm standing
position. |
|
|
Do not operate with anyone standing on the load line
system. |
|
|
Release tension with extreme care. Make sure everyone is
clear of whipping lines resulting from released tension. |
|
|
Inspect ratchet turnbuckle before use for
wear and deformation. Worn and / or deformed parts should be replaced. |
|
|
Recheck the tightness of the ratchet turnbuckle and tension
lines periodically. Retighten
if necessary. |
|
|
Lubricate pivot and swivel points for optimum performance. |
|
|
Use only replacement parts manufactured by Dixie Industries
division of Columbus McKinnon. |
